In 2022, Royal mail will be making significant changes to the franking channel.

 

This will directly affect

Signed-For and Special Delivery services.

 

All Frama customers will still have full access to these services when they are introduced by Royal Mail.

 

This may not be the case if you do not have a Frama franking machine.

Royal Mail Changes

From November 1st 2022, Royal mail will be making major changes to franking as part of their drive to make the processing of postage faster and more efficient. This change is a directive from Royal Mail and not a Frama decision.

The changes will involve the way that Signed-For and Special-Delivery is printed via your franking machine. Many older or smaller machines from alternative providers will not be able to produce these services from 1st November.

The good news is that there is a solution. All Frama customers will have access to these services from November 1st. For most providers, this is unlikely to be the case.
