A Government survey of the FTSE350 has found that 68% of board members haven`t been trained to deal with cybersecurity incidents which would leave the business in danger.

50% of the board members recognise cyber threats are a top risk for the business but 69% don`t have comprehensive information on the risk. The Government want business to work with National Cyber Security Centre to develop ways to protect themselves from a cyberattack.

Energy, transport and health firms are facing multimillion pound fines to have a strong cybersecurity measure in place. The fines are aimed at preventing hackers from getting into network.
